$1400 Comprehensive Doula Support Package

• Complimentary pre-hire meeting to become acquainted with one another, discuss birth goals and determine alignment

• Two prenatal meetings at your home or location of your choice to educate, discuss and prepare for remainder of pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum life

• Assistance with creating birth plan for your unique preferred experiences

• Unlimited communication through text, email and phone calls during pregnancy, labor and postpartum

• Education, encouragement and empowerment throughout pregnancy, labor and postpartum

• Continuous presence-emotional and spiritual support, and physical comfort measures

• Experienced back up doulas available

• Continuous on call labor support 2 weeks before due date and 2 weeks after

• Full access via phone during early labor until you decide you need my physical presence

• Guidance and reassurance for your birth partner(s)

• Empowerment for you to advocate your needs and desires through your voice

• Immediate post-birth support by being present with you up to 2 hours after birth to assist with postpartum needs, affirming and honoring your experience and offering lactation support

• One in-home postpartum visit within the first week to discuss birth experience, offer lactation support, address concerns, answer newborn questions, and celebrate and marvel at you and your baby

Postpartum Support

• Emotional support for mom as she integrates into life after the transforming nature of birth, while tending a newborn

• Active listening for mom and partner, offering encouragement and empowerment

• Provide resources within the area for all members of family

• Sharing evidence-based information for emotional and physical recovery from birth, including coping skills, as well as new born care, including infant feeding and soothing techniques

• Physical support of mini -massage and breath work to relieve stress

• Practical support can include light housework including tidying common areas, watering plants, washing dishes and pump parts/bottles, washing & folding laundry, meal prep and cooking, tending to a sibling, and tending to newborn while mom sleeps, showers or just needs a minute
